Total 44 persons joined the NMDP.  You are the heroes!

Sponsored by NMDP, LifeSource and CCFC, the NMDP marrow drive held at Chinese Christian Fellowship Church, Wilmette, IL was a great success.

Official number of registered in NMDP at the event : 78.

Two more NMDP marrow drives will be held in Chicago suburbs, one in Wilmette and the other Naperville later this month.

Detailed schedule and location will be published once confirmed from Lifesource.

Held on Sunday, a super hot and humid Chicago summer day at CCUC-North, the NMDP marrow drive was a great success. Over 100 people showed up, among them are students, retirees, staying-home moms, self-employed, pregnant ladies, wife and husband, brother and sister. Pastors from 3 ministries (Mandarin, Cantonese and English) all lined up in the line. Final qualified register count is 102. There are also supporters who could not come to the event as planed but decided to join NMDP by themselves.

Lan’s family members were there to help the event and show their appreciations.

Organizers from CCUC-North and Lan Ma Fund worked with LifeSource nurse and worker through out the day. Many people helped voluntarily in this event.
